Curacao was simply amazing! Everyone was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire trip! There was so much to do: horseback riding, scuba diving, swimming with dolphins, casinos and much more. The food options were very accomodating and I enjoyed all the meals that we had throughout our trip. The seafood was delicious. I especially enjoyed dining at the outdoor restaurants at the Arches.
The nightlife was lacking in Curacao. Most of the businesses close very early and there weren't many bars or clubs. Past 9 or 10pm, the downtown area was entirely dead; so empty that it was a little eery. Casinos stay open until the early hours of the morning (I remember that the Hilton casino was open until 3am), so that is an option if you are interested in gambling.
After 11pm, the taxis began to charge an additional 2 dollar fee. Be sure to make sure you ask how much it will be before you get into the cab. The one time we forgot to ask the cab driver tried to charge us more than what other drives charged.
