Anyone who owns a small dog and lives in Ohio had better learn that these dogs get cold easily. If they are going to stay warm when they go potty, it is nice to have a warm sweater to keep them warm. My dog will shiver in the cold when I take him out to potty. This sweater harness does the trick for my Smokey.
It was inexpensive, stylish, male specific, keeps him warm, durable rings to attach both his tags and his leash, easy to put on him with the zipper closure, flexible so it is not to stiff on him and allows for easy movement, the material is durable and does not tear easily, and it does not get in the way when he is urinating or having a bowl movement.
I have to admit that I like it better then he does, but dogs tend to be a little stubborn about those things. He will wear it as long as he doesn't have to wear it for long periods which I don't. I don't keep it on him while he is in doors because it is not good to allow dogs to overheat. Our house is warm. He only wears this sweater harness outside when it is cold.
I would recommend all owners of small dogs keep them warm when taking them out in cold weather. Especially, if you own a short haired dog, they will get cold easily. Making pets comfortable is always important.
