Who doesn't like Tonka cars/trucks? Tonka has been around for as long as I can remember.
I haven't had the oppurtunity for a very long time to buy toys cars......actuallyI hate to admit but it's been about 6 yrs or so..........anyone I know has been having girls and those that do have boys are not really into playing with car anymore.
We were blessed a year ago with a little boy....he just had a his first birthday July 31st. Yeah!!! that meant we were going out shopping for little boy toys......not just baby toys...but little BOY toys.
Off to Toys R Us we go. While browsing we came across the cutest little cars I've ever seen. The Tonka cars/trucks I remember were not the safest for a 1 year old. They were the the hard metal type toys. The one that I seen that day at Toys R Us are Wheel Pals and are made specially for toddlers 12 months and up.
There was five different ones availible, we bought all five. Tonka wheel pals are made of a squeezable plastic. The wheels are very well in tact, I have no fear of them popping off. They are the perfect fit for my little man to take in his hand and push across the floor. And the cutest part, each one of these little Tonka cars has an adorable expression on it.
I have since noticed that these can be bought in sets of 5 or 3 online. We bought ours individually as the sets weren't availible where we were shopping. Buying them by the set is cheaper. But at $5.99 a piece we are very pleased with the quality of these cars and the durable seems great. My little man just loves them.
The ones pictured are Wheel pals Converible (Blue), Wheel Pals Sports car ( Red), Wheel Pals Antique auto ( Grey), Wheel Pals Tow truck (Green) and we also got Wheel Pals School bus ( yellow) not pictured.
If you have a little boy and are looking for some cute safe and fun cars for him to play with, you really need to check out the Tonka Wheel pals. They are just great.
