I read The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown when i was 13. When i was younger, i saw my family reading the book and i wasn't interested in books like that. I was more into fiction, shorter books, comics and magazines. One day i really wanted to know what made my family interested in Dan Brown so i picked the book with a title i was familiar with and began to read. The first few pages i wasn't really interested in but gradually i understood how the Prologue was relevant to the plot. Each chapter i read i grew more and more fearful and excited. After finishing the book and reading others i realised that Dan Brown finished most of his books in the same way. I kept reading moreand more non-fiction books and it eventually lead me to other authors like Matthew Reily and Eoin Colfer.
The Dan Brown books are a simple read and you need to remember things to fit the plots pieces in place. The Prologue is one of the most important piece because it will lead you in a new direction or increase your understanding of the plot. A great thing about is books is that whenever he's about to come towards to the climax of the plot, he finishes the page with a fact or something that surprises you. The thing that i found funny (not the fun kind of funny. The wierd kind) about his books are whenever the main character completes his task or solves the plot and all happy ending (woohoo) i find that something in the end will make that character a very happy person. It could be something rare or a reward ( reward can be interpretted in different ways).
I recommned this book for anyone who is above 13 years of age. Even if you aren't interested i invite you to start reading these types of books and i hope that you will eventually enjoy and continue reading. These are great books so start opening those covers and have a good read!!
