Dan Brown's Deception Point is a good book. Written in the traditional Dan Brown style (many subplots with fast-paced gear changes) the novel is a page turner. Based on a cosmological find in the Arctic, the novel is packed with science (lay level), murder, deceit etc. NASA is the primary agency involved in the study of what is apparently an impact site in the Arctic. Glaciologists and other scientists are summoned to the site to analyze things. Some people become suspicious, much to their demise....read for details.
Dan seems to always pick an entity, e.g. NASA, the NSA, the Catholic Church, and creates a very entertaining story filled with conspiracy, fraud and deception. Deception Point will provoke thought and hopefully make us all a bit skeptical.
