My then 7 year old daughter was into Barbie, so when I seen this Dance with me Barbie I thought it would make a great Christmas gift for her. I purchased the doll from Argos for around £30.

Once Christmas game my daughter was delighted with her new dancing Barbie, like with all toys this item was extemely hard to get out of the packaging, but we finally got there to find one stand, one Barbie doll and four arm/ankle bands and one instruction leaflet.

The doll is dressed in a beauutiful glittery pink dress, with long blond curly hair, she has moving arms and legs, the doll is attached to the stand by one leg, leaving the other leg free for dance moves, The on/off switch can be found at the bottom of the stand, also batteries are inserted at the bottom off the stand, on the front of the stand there is three buttons that play tunes and allow the doll to dance, then the arm/ankle bands are for your child to dance, each time they make a movement the doll should do the same movement, or the child can copy the dance movements of the doll.

On the first use everything was fine, however after a while the dolls legs and arms didn't move properly and my daughter soon lost interest, Although the doll is beautiful it isn't worth the money, unless you are going to just put the doll on a display cabinet, this is what the doll is used for now, it just sits on my daughters shelf in her room.

Wouldn't recomend!!!
