DVD runtime is 55 minutes. Stella Sandoval, and several of her friends, lead you through about an hour long salsa dance. I do not know if this is enough of a workout to actually work any inches off of you (as the title implies), but it is fun, and any excercise at all is better than sitting on the couch with a bag of chips. This is a mild cardio workout, unless you are brand new to exercise, or perhaps recovering from an illness - then it might be more of a moderate to intense cardio workout. Keeping up with the dance steps isn't always easy (especially for those of us who are a little less coordinated), but there is a feature that lets you learn them at your own pace prior to watching (and following along with) the dance session. In this instructional portion, Sandoval takes you through each and every move at a slower pace, so you can keep practicing each one until you feel confident enough to move on to the dance portion of the video.
