A couple of years ago I was getting ready for a Trade Show and was asking around about what shoes I might wear that wouldn't leave me crippled after the first day. Of all the recommendations I heard, one brand name kept recurring from my clients, suppliers and friends: Dansko.

I'd heard they were comfortable. I'd noticed Doctors and Nurses wearing them at the hospitals over the years. They're on their feet all day, every day. Can't be all bad, I figured. I was a bit uncertain about how they'd fit since they are sized to EU sizes. My last experience with EU sizes was with Doc Martens and that was not a good one.

I took the plunge and am really glad I did! The Trade Show - all 1MM square feet of it - was a breeze in my Dansko Professional Clogs. Usually, after the first day, I'm hobbling the remaining 3. Not that year or any year since. I breezed through the show. My husband - and business partner - was so impressed that he's thinking of getting himself a pair for this year's show. One of our supply partners noticed them on me at that show and asked me about them. She bought a pair for herself as a result, too.

They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. You have to be a bit careful about sizing. When I've tried on the same style, same size, same material [leather], but different color I've found that one pair in my size might fit great and another pair, also in my size, might not.

I like them so much I've gotten myself a couple of pairs of them. They're all equally comfortable. They might not be the sexiest shoes I own but they are definitely the most kind to my feet.

The leather is of very good quality. The color saturation is also very good. I would have rated the color higher except I have mostly seen rather basic colors in this style. I rated the heel height less than perfect because it might be nice if the foundation of the shoe were a bit lower profile. I've stepped off a curb in the dark and had a bit of a stumble in them. Although, it might have happened in a sneaker. Who knows..

I wear my Dansko Professional Clogs to the office/warehouse almost every day. I really love them.
