When I got married, I knew I wanted a tiara that was separate from the veil. I wanted to be able to remove the veil and keep the tiara on for the reception. It took a long time to find when I wanted, but this one from David's Bridal looked great.
I was a bit hesitant to get this one because of the price. It was a gift from my mom, but I still knew it was more than I thought a simple tiara should be. But after trying on a ton of them and really liking this one, my mom wanted me to have it! :-)
This tiara was perfect in size for me. I did not want a huge on that took over the look of my head, but I did not just want t headband. This was right in the middle. It comes up about an inch and a half at the peak. The other arches are just a bit shorter so you get a cascading look to the sides.
It is made of rhinestone crystals and a light metal frame. It was very light on my head the whole night. They hairdresser had no problem fitting the tiara into my hair style. She simply held it down with a few bobby pins and it held all night.
