A co-worker told me about this product she uses called MOMO. Being a fellow curly girl, I had to try it out. Seeing it in Winners for $7.99, when she told me she paid $17.00 for it at a salaon in Sherway Gardens, was truly a bargain. Well, I bought it and I was truly disappointed!

Davines MOMO moisturizing curl enhancing serum has grapefruit seed extract as well as a lot of other great ingredients like wheat protein, panthenol and fig extracts, to name a few. The consistency isn't thick but 'gummy'. It is beige in colour. It comes in a 150mL sized bottle with a flip-up cap.The packaging is very minimalistic and recyclable.

What I found difficult about MOMO is following the directions. How do you know what is the 'right amount'? According to the directions you are supposed to apply the right amount of product on wet hair; particularly where curls are frizzy. You can then blow dry or let your hair dry naturally; without excessively touching the hair. My experience both times I tried this product was very crunchy curls that frizzed as it dried. I even tried to use less product the 2nd time, and I still got the same results. How can it be moisturizing if it leave your hair crunchy? I don't like to use heat on my hair so I let my curls air dry. There was a lot of shrinkage from this product as well. I like products that will elongate my curls while defining them so that their true length and curl pattern are shown.

Although Davines MOMO states that it is for dry curly hair, I don't like it for MY dry curly hair.
