Dead Like Me the entire First Season on DVD tells the story of George (Ellen Muth) as a recently deceased teenage girl who becomes a grim reaper. The show was originally aired on Showtime, so the content is not safe for younger audiences, seeing as it has foul language, nudity, sex, and drug referances. Also featured in the show is Mandy Patinking (from The Princess Bride) as the boss to the clique of reapers to which George is assigned. He does this on Post-It notes, with information given to each of the reapers at their hangout, a greasy spoon diner. I found this on Showtime's On-Demand section on night, and watched practically the whole season in one sitting. I then found out that it was coming out of DVD, and bought it the day it came out and watched the season in one sitting again. I enjoy the witty banter between George and her co-reapers, as well as the day job she picks up. She aslo checks up on her family from time to time, but due to the rules, she is unable to contact them as who she was, but who she is now.
