I love my double pillowtop mattress, but have a terrible time finding sheets that fit well. Nothing is worse than paying good money for bed linens that don't fit. Or if they do fit, they wear out far too quickly. Fieldcrest solves that problem on both counts. Years ago I bought two sets of these luxury sheets. My husband loved them because they fit tightly and yet were incredibly soft and silky to sleep on. And oh did they wear well. After 8 years they finally began showing their age. But Fieldcrest had severely limited their line, making them difficult to find.

Fortunately the good people at Linen Source called me to let me know that Fieldcrest was bringing back their entire Charisma line of bedding. What differentiates this from merely upscale bedding is the extremely high quality. The tightly woven twill like cotton is one standout feature of these sheets. Instead of feeling rough or merely heavy, these sheets are cool, soft and extremely durable. The more you wash them the softer they get, and those pockets on the fitted bottoms are very deep.

I launder mine on warm wash with a cold rinse and dry them on warm. Drying sheets of this quality on hot will cause them to thin and weaken. A good fabric softener such as Downy Simple Pleasures help keep them wrinkle free and smooth. Ironing really isn't necessary because the hefty cotton sheeting is of such high quality.

You can find Charisma sheets at Macy's in limited quantities, though this will increase in the near future. Linen's n Things and my favorite Linen Source carry them too. Though they are definitely expensive, when you consider how well these sheets perform and how long they keep their good looks, it is worth it. I get mine through Linen Source online, because I can spread out my purchases over 4 payments and right now get my purchases deferred until January. This is a big help when dealing with high end sheets that fit big beds.

It makes more sense to buy the right product for the right reasons. Initially it may cost more upfront, but in the long run, they pay for themselves in performance. This is especially true when dealing with oversized beds with 20 inch mattresses. Don't throw away money on sheets that don't fit well, go for it and get these superbly comfortable linens.
