I purchased the Weight Watchers New Complete Cookbook about 2 years ago when I was doing Weight Watchers. I wanted some interesting recipes that were healthy. I also wanted to easily be able to figure out the points for what I was eating.
This cookbook was perfect. Not only did it have many terrific recipes, each recipe includes the nutritional information as well as the number of points it used according to the Weight Watchers system. It also told you if the food was included in the Core Plan, which is Weight Watchers other program. The recipes also include icons that tell you if the recipe is spicy, takes less than 20 minutes to prepare, has 5 or less points or is a core plan recipe.
In addition to the recipes, there is a section at the beginning of the book that explains both of the Weight Watchers plans as well as giving tips on weight loss, exercise and general healthy living. The book contains chapters such as Stocks and Sauces, Appetizers & Snacks, Main Dish and Side Salads, Vegetarian and many more.
