I purchased the Dell Axim Pocket PC to be the tool I needed on the road to help keep my calendar and contacts at my fingertips. But it is much more than that. It also has the capability to take along Word files and Excel files I may need to refer to when I'm away from the house. It also uploads my emails for the day and I can catch up on them if I have to leave and not have time to check them on the PC.
When I'm sitting in the doctor's office or have some time to kill, I can entertain myseld with a game of Solitaire.
The calendar reminder is awesome. If there is an important date or appointment I need to keep, the alarm goes off to remind me and brought to my attention.
I can write notes or reminders in the task area and show the importance of the priority so I'm sure to check into it soon. Because it is a Pocket PC, you can click on the start menu as you do on your computer and the programs you have listed show you what you have available.
Windows Media player is also installed, so you can listen to your favorite tunes. If you set it up for an internet connection, it can be accessed by Internet Explorer browser.
There are so many great features, some of which I haven't even begun to explore.
