I purchased the E1505 because I liked the screen size. This is not a small laptop. The model I purchased came with 1 GB RAM (which is the minimum recommended for Vista). I wish I had upgraded to 2 GB. The system is often sluggish when running multiple programs. I have even tried closing some of the bells and whistles, which has helped a little.
Overall I am pleased with the computer. It can handle most of my light to medium computing needs. Getting used to Vista has been a bit of a learning curve. While it has the same general feel as XP, there are some features that are a little different.
I have played several movies on this computerand the screen resolution is great. They call the screen "True Life" and it really is. I liked this computer enought to purchase the newer Dell model for my daughter (with more memory of course).
