I was a bit skeptical at first because many other Dell owners have told me to stay away from them, but seeing as this laptop was only $1199 and came with a FREE Dell Mini 10v netbook I couldn't pass up the offer!!! Overall, this a very powerful laptop and can easily handle any application the average user will need. The BluRay player is also great for watching a movie on the go or you can hook the laptop up to your hi-def TV via HDMI and enjoy!! The only thing that is lacking is the graphics card. If you want to play newer games, you might as well forget it. The integrated Intel graphics are only able to play very basic games, if any at all. This laptop is also on the heavy side, but hey it's 17 inches so what do you expect? Overall, I would recommend this purchase to anyone but the hardcore gamer...if the graphics card was upgraded, however, it would be a gaming monster
