So it is no secret that I suffer from depression. I have read all kinds of books over the years and this is the best book I have found. Depression for Dummies explains depression better than any book I have ever read. It is to the point with no fluff involved. I take depression very serious and I expect the books I read to do the same. This book absolutely does take it seriously.
The only thing this book sets out to do it to give facts about depression and tell you all of the options to deal with it. It explains the different types of depression and what happens to the body when you are depressed. It also tells you how to get help with therapy, medication and how to modify depressed behavior.
I love this book. I have had everyone that is important in my life read it. It really takes all the guess work out of trying to explain it to someone. With a simple approach this book tackles a very serious and, at times, almost deadly disease.
