I can't pass up a treat that tastes like flowers, ever!
What, you ask, is Spoon Fudge?
Well, it's pretty much what it sounds like. Dig in!
Each expensive jar of fudge comes in a beautiful aqua and cocoa box with a tiny copper spoon for instant gratification. The presentation is VERY giftable--in fact, I did this a few times.
Pricewise, the shipping (only available online, by the by) and product price were a little steep for a small jar of fudge. Especially when I looked at the ingredients. It's gluten-free, which is good. However it's mostly sugar, trans-fats, and artificial colours/flavours, with stabilizers and preservatives.
The good news? I mentioned my disappointed take on the ingredients on a forum and soon after the owner posted a blog about new, healthier forumulas to come!
Anyway, this is good stuff. The white chocolate is so light and airy; very, very sweet. The rose is a bit like rose water. Not sticky-sweet like rose candies but very much like the flower. The after taste is lovely. It's easy to eat almost an entire jar in one go.
I'll only buy again if the ingredients improve--I will pay for quality!
