I received the Lamaze Infant Development System's stage one book - Discovery Farm as a baby shower gift. I had heard of Lamaze before but never bought any of their products. I was very pleased with this book.

Discovery farm is an infant book made of cloth. It has different textutures of materials, cottony soft material for sheep for example, and lots of bright colours. This book introduces babies to farm animals and the sounds they make. Babies can remove the chick from its egg, touch the pig's tail, feel the soft wool of the sheep, crackle the farmer's tracktor, take the duck out of the pond, feel the little horse and calf and lift flaps to see the animals sleeping. Parents can read the animal sounds found on each page aloud for their baby to hear. It has a black and white threading around the front and back cover of the book in addition to all of the interactivity inside.

My son loves this book! He removes the animals and bites them. He shakes the book (it makes a rattling sound). He also likes to crinkle the farmer's tracktor and and barn door. This book has also helped him with his fine motor skills. I recommend the Lamaze Discovery Farm book to all parents.
