I was helping my daughter clean the apartment where she and her husband and children had lived for two years. They are buying a house so they were moving out. I was cleaning her kitchen for her and saw that she had a neat looking tool at her sink so decided to try using it. The tool had a plastic handle which was filled with dish soap, and at the end of it, a Scotch Brite scrubbing sponge, which is my favorite kind of dishwashing sponge. (see my Scotch Brite review.)
The sponge was tapered and fit nicely into corners of casserole dishes. The size was really perfect for all of the things at her sink that needed a good scrub. The wand was angled just right to give leverage so I could really put some elbow grease into the job.
The next day, I was grocery shopping and happened to see the Scotch Brite Dish Wand on the shelf and grabbed it quick.I also grabbed a pack of refills.
Now I use it all the time in my own kitchen. It is great when I don't feel like getting my hands in the dish water and just have a quick clean up. This is a good tool and I'm really glad my daughter helped me discover it.
