I cam across these mini posters in a Dollar General store about 15 years ago. As soon as I saw them; I knew I just had to have them.

These were labeled as Framed Mini Posters in the store, they were just in a pile with a bunch of other mini posters of various characters. To me, I had found a gold mine. I am a long time Mickey and Minnie Mouse fan. Mickey being my absolute favorite character.

Most people know, especially Disney fans, that Mickey Mouse was the first Disney character created by Walt Disney followed closely behind with Minnie Mouse. Both characters have the same creation date of November 18, 1928.

These mini posters not only show the character, but give a little information about the character.

Mickey Mouse in his normal outfit. This mini poster gives a bit of the information about the creation of Mickey Mouse. It gives the date his Character was created which is November, 18 1928. It also provides the background and personality of Mickey Mouse. He was created as good character showing respect and all the good qualities that parents want their children to hold. At the end of the information it makes the statement, “Mickey Mouse is the proof that good guys do finish first.”

These were only available at the store for a short time. I was lucky to get them when I did. They are collector's items which hold a special place to me.

They did not cost a lot of money, but who says enjoyment and special mementos have to cost a lot of money. Treasures are those you hold dear and are not just those which are valued by their monetary cost.

There is nothing I can say bad about these mini posters. They are items which I will cherish and will pass on to my daughter or future granddaughter when I leave this world.
