As an avid Disney fan, I've gone to both of the US parks multiple times so fill qualified to give a fair review. The latest trip to DisneyWorld we decided to stay at one of the 'value" resorts given we were having a family reunion and wanted to ensure we could have enough rooms so everyone could spreadout and have space without going bankrupt; we did get what we had hoped; a lot of rooms for a pretty low price.

That said, we got what we paid for, no extras which were sorely missed! The beds were comfortable, clean, and smelled rather nice but the rooms are small, the towels are very cheap and small, it's not easy to get extras towels either!

The pools were always crowded and rowdy even past midnight, the noise could be heard as we were near the pools in the more "premium" rooms. Yeah, not so great as we paid more to be closer to the pools and the dining areas. As far as the dining goes, the food was adequate, not great and was expensive! More expensive than actually eating in the parks!

Taking the bus to the parks took a good 45 minutes to get there so it does make you rethink the plan to go back to the rooms during the day for a break, especially if the park closes early, which does happen. Getting back to the hotel was quite different, that could take nearly 2 hours if you stayed at the park until it closed. We stayed until the fireworks ended, what a mistake, we waited in a huge line for the bus. It took over 2 hours before we got onto the bus and then another 45 minutes until it pulled into the hotel drop off area.

The staff was hit or miss when it came to getting help, I found the higher up in management they were, the less willing they were to be friendly.

Overall, this value resort was nice but I won't stay in another value resort again; you certainly do lose out on the "magic" and they are just so far away from the action that I think you need to add a couple of more days to your vacation just to make it to the other attractions which basically voids the idea of saving money.

Also, it's very hot and humid most of the year; we were there in April and found it to be almost unbearable; if you don't tolerate humidity well, go during the winter season (it'll still be warm) or go to the California resorts you won't have to worry about the weather as much.
