Our miniature dachshund Chopper is 5 years old. But we have never un-trained him from Pee Pee pads, only because if we are gone longer than a few hours he knows to head on over to his private area and use his pad. Now, if he happens to use it when we are home, he gets a Cheesy Poof treat.

The package comes with 30 in a pack and of course they have 2 puppy long haired dachshunds on the front. Not that it swayed my decision to buy these, but when my sister was buying Publix diapers years ago and raved on the absorbancy, I figured these doggie pads probably had the same materials.

The pads are very absorbent and the best we have ever tried. They are 23.5" x 23.5" in size.

They also control odor and if or when he uses it during the night while we are sleeping, we don't need to worry about any leakage or our floor being ruined.

We have tried other brands and the polymer on those other brands for some reason don't stop the leakage like these do.

I actually contemplated writing a review on these pads because Publix doesn't always have many available, but they really are good and if you are in the market for pads, please try them.

Chopper posed on a clean pad so you all could see one compared to his 11 pound size.

Update On Apr 20, 2010: I bought some of these the other day in Publix and ended up talking to the cashier and the customer behind me about how great they work. Too bad I don't get commission for promoting these pads - they are fantastic!
