Retin-A Cream was a product prescribed to me by my doctor after suffering a severe acne breakout. This product does wonders, though it does not show results immediately, it does show results after 5-6 days upon applying the product. The product is simple to apply, simply squeeze out a pea size of the cream onto your finger tips and rub on the applicable area. If you have a doctor that knows what they're talking about then they should inform you of the peeling you'll experience. This peeling is a good sign and means the cream is working. The product works by peeling old layers.

The product comes at different strengths, and depending on the severity of your acne, and the sensitivity of your skin, your doctor will recommend the necessary dosage. I currently have the 0.025%, which I believe is the weakest, but it's probably the best to start with if you have sensitive skin. Don't be discourage that the product will work less if your doctor only refers 0.025%, regardless it will work, just stay committed, apply daily, and the product will eventually work its magic.

The product also helps reduce blemishes, but it'll take months before you see significant results. I've heard that this product also contains collagen which reduces aging but if your only purpose for purchasing the product is to reduce aging I can't be held accountable if it does not help reduce wrinkles. This products is for the use of acne, more than anything else. Then it could probably be recommended for blemishes and lastly aging.

The product comes in a tube with a decent amount of cream. The product also has instructions if needed and can be kept at room temperature.

The only drawback to this product, and the reason I only gave it 4.5 stars instead of 5, is the dryness you'll experience, which is inevitable, but necessary to the healing process. So its recommended that you moisture more than usual after usage. If the product stings or causes rashes, this is not normal and it's recommended that you stop using the product. The product does what it claims to do which is to reduce acne and that's whats important. Overall, the product is amazing and can only be retrieved through prescription. I highly recommend this product, it has done wonders for my skin and if you've been looking for a product for acne because over the counter products haven't been working I highly suggest you try Retin-A.
