Dove Deodorant Not Just For Your Underarms

I initially bought Dove deodorant when I had a coupon for it and I was starting to notice some razorburn under my arms. I've always heard that it's the most moisturizing deodorant you can buy, and I'd never tried it before. I went to the store and picked out the Sensitive Skin variety. It is a clear solid and it doesn't have much of a fragrance at all: a fresh, powdery-scent is how I would describe it.

I used this for a few weeks but as it was summertime I was kind of apprehensive to abandon my tried-and-true Secret brand. I found that this Dove deodorant left me feeling not so fresh, and while I wouldn't say that it didn't work, I switched back to Secret before I'd even finished off this container because I like the stronger fragrance of my Secret: it makes me confident that it's working when I can smell it all day long.

But I found an even better use for this Dove deodorant: it makes the best after-shave lotion/moisturizer I've ever used. After I shave my legs I apply some on my skin and I never itch. The best part is that I don't get lotion all over my hands. Using this deodorant as an after-shave keeps my hands clean and keeps my skin moisturized. Dove deodorants also have a unique way to push the product up in the dispenser. You turn a dial that spans the entire bottom of the dispenser, so it is much easier than trying to get your hands around a small round dial in the middle of the stick like most deodorants I've used before. Try it after you shave, and you'll love it too!
