I recently bought another great time management game from Big Fish Games with one of my game club credits. This one is DQ Tycoon, and in this game you run your own Dairy Queen store. It really is addictive.
In DQ Tycoon, customers come into the store and it's your job to fill their orders before they lose patience and leave. It really is neat, because I feel like I'm running my own Dairy Queen store. Customers order ice cream cones, waffle bowl ice cream delights, sodas, milk shakes, Blizzards, and more. The game is very realistic. You progress to different levels depending on how fast you are and how well you do. In between levels, various facts about Dairy Queen come onscreen (such as famous people who worked at a DQ at one time and when different DQ snacks debuted) and it is interesting to gain knowledge about DQ.
As you progress in levels, you will get a helper in the store who actually hurts more than helps. He moves rather slowly, and sometimes you must finish an order he starts or risk losing your customer because of his slowness. It makes the game more challenging. And sometimes you are working two cash registers at once.
The game is fast-paced and fun. I love the graphics and find this game to be very addictive and entertaining.
If you want to get a taste of what it would be like to run a Dairy Queen, try out a demo of this game. I think you will like it.
