Dr. Suess's ABC Amazing Alphabet book is a fun way to get your child to learn his ABCs.

This book has a delightful rhyme to it (Big A, Little A, what begins with A? Aunt Annie's Alligators A...A..A) with fun pictures accompanying each letter. Children can begin to recognize items that begin with these letters (donuts for D, kites for K) and point them out. It is difficult, however, to reckon some of the letters with the made up Dr. Suess characters (for instance, there is not really such a thing as a fiffer-feffer-feff, or a zizzer-zazzer-zuz) which takes away a bit from the educational value of this book.

I have the board book version and it has held up well through several readings. It is one of my favorite books to read to my daughter as it is simply a lot of fun. I recommend it for children as young as a young toddler.
