If your child likes to draw and likes the toys called Pokemons, then they will like this art book. This step by step book will guide them in drawing their favorite creature from the Pokemon series. The art book starts with easy techniques, and then how to draw your favorite Pokemon characters. It will take alittle patience to become a Pokemon artist. They will learn to draw faces, bodies, and Pokemon motion. Supplies necessary for the artist are a medium pencil, eraser, and 81/2" x 11" sheets of white paper. The artist has the choice of ten basic shapes that can be used when drawing Pokemons.

We will start with the character Oddish . With an oval for the head, they can draw crisscrossing lines to show the way Oddish is facing. Two small ovals make up the feet, and three leaves that are on the top of the head. Next comes the eyes and mouth, and details on the leaves on the head. Finally add two more leaves to the others and erase the crosshairs, and your done. They can color in their drawings matching the right colors to each character, Other creatures like Pikachu, Ivysar, Charmelon, and twenty five others are included in this book for the Pokemon artist.

This art book is great for pokemon fans, but it does take alot of practice and patience, just like catching and training Pokemons.
