Drawn Together is a show you either love or hate. The humor is tasteless and shocking, but the whole point is to lampoon everything held sacred by just about every group in this country. The animation is very good, with each character representing a particular style from the 1920s through to the current crop of Japanese animation. Each one stays true to type, with the Disney-esque Clara belting out love songs at the drop of a hat, Ling-Ling speaking in essentially unintelligible gibberish with the necessary poor subtitles to match. The stories range from various forms of homosexuality to eating disorders and people with disabilities to bullying by others to sweatshop workers and S&M fantasies and body issues. While the humor is tasteless, if you get it it's hillariously funny stuff because the characters are so earnest about who and what they are and the humor is often done in an almost off-hand manner that catches the viewer off guard. Drawn Together is DEFINITELY NOT for children or teenagers. Only sick and twisted people will like this insane show, like myself. :)
