Dreams are a source of confusion for most of us. Some people have dreams that are sensible and not that hard to figure out. Unfortunately, I'm not one of those people. Most of my dreams are confusing and some are downright bizarre. That's what drew me to this book. I thought it might be fun to read the interpretations of the various things that go on in my head at night.

Zolar's Encyclopedia & Dictionary of Dreams is quite an interesting book. It is indexed by keywords and each one has various possible meanings of what that subject may mean to you. One example that I know many people have is dreaming of being naked. Here are just a few of the interpretations listed:

A woman dreaming of being naked: Unhappiness

A man dreaming of being naked: Public disgrace

Wife being naked: Relatives are talking about you

Another subject I've heard mentioned is rain. Here's a bit of what the book describes about that:

Hearing patter of rain on the roof: Great marital happiness

Getting wet in a downpour of rain: Suffering caused by suspicions of friends

Women being out in the rain: Disappointment in love

Some subjects have only a few explanations and others have many. It's really interesting to look a subject up and see what it may mean.

I'm not a dream expert and don't claim that I believe all that this book says. But, it is fun to wake up and lread about what my dream may have been telling me. In many cases, it makes a lot of sense, but not always. For me, it's informative entertainment.
