Getting a dress shirt, long sleeve to span the length of my arms has always been a problem with me. The standard dress shirts always come up short. I usually end up at a mens "big and tall" store, but then I have to contend with a dress shirt that is too bulky.
I found a near perfect fit at "Nordstrom". Nordstrom, Smartcare Classic Dress Shirt. It is a good fit, without feeling like I am wearing a tent.
It has a straight collar, specially treated pinpoint oxford cloth stays wrinkle free. Cross stitched buttons and extra long tails, so this shirt will not keep having to be tucked into my pants repeatedly. It is cotton and machine washable.
The trick with dress shirts is, finding a balance. A shirt you can feel good in, without feeling as if you are wearing something you want to jump out of later. You may pay the extra dollar, but in the long run; that shirt will last longer and feel better against your skin.
This classic dress shirt, by Nordstrom, does wash up well and feels great. It is not a shirt I wear around the house. I wear it with my sport coat, or suit. Yes, I have a few more dress shirts. This one is just happens to be my favorite, white, no frills dress shirt.
