The Drill Doctor 750X is one of the best money and time saving devices ever for home do-it-your-selfers, and especially professional conractors.

It is a drill bit resharpener and repairer. Instead of throwing away dull, useless bits, they can be made like new again, for up to 30 times!

It has already about paid for itself just in my home use. As soon as I got it, I went through all of my jars of useless bits, and sharpened them to good-as-new again! I can imagine how much it would save a contractor. Larger drill bits sell for $15 each, on up, and in a job where time equals money, dull drill bits take a heck of alot longer to drill a hole than freshly sharpened ones.

I got mine at Amazon.com for $139.95, with free shipping. (Compared to Home Depot at $179.95).

It sharpens high-speed steel, masonry, carbide and TiN-coated bits, from 3/32" to 3/4". It comes in a sturdy plastic case, and includes an instructional DVD and a 3-year warranty.

It couldn't be easier to use. It works like an electric pencil sharpener. You tighten the drill bit into the removable chuck, and insert it into the sharpener. In less than a minute you have a like-new bit!

The replaceable diamond sharpening wheel sells for about $20. I don't know how often it needs to be replaced. For home use, probably years.

This would be a great gift for a do-it-your-selfer who has everything else, and you don't know what to get him. It would save alot of money by not having to throw away dull bits, and alot of time drilling holes with sharp bits. Highly recommended!
