Every Christmas I buy myself a present to give myself. This year I bought a DVD player because my old one went to " DVD Heaven". It didn't play "nice" :(. The thing just kept skipping or pausing when a dvd was inserted. I tried cleaning it with a dvd cleaning disc, nothing happened. I finally had to admit that the player was fritzed and boo-hoo, done for.

This compact DVD player is the replacement. It was on sale, so it fit into my budget and it doesn't take up a lot of space. The best thing about this player is that it is compact and it fits nicely over my cable box. The instructions were easy to follow and didn't take very long to install. The clarity of dvds that I have played were clear and the voice quality excellent. The DVD does came with a remote, as well as the batteries for the remote. Saved a bit of change there. I didn't have to go and buy batteries to install in the remote (2-AAA batteries). One of the best features is that the player consists of materials that can be recycled and reused if dissembled by a specialised company (local recycling distribution center). Other special features are: Playing a title, Changing the audio language, Subtitles, playback control. Playing MP3/WMA/JPEG/Kodak Picture CD. Also, the player is easy to clean by using a micro fibre cleaning cloth. I recommend this DVD player to anyone who is looking for a small compact player.
