In as much as I love this mouse, the design, the size everything about it, I must say this mouse is a little expensive. But I guess all wireless mice are priced that way.
I remembered the day I bought this, I was considering a Nortek and a Logitech wireless mouse. Logitech is less expensive compared to this one but I was not so estatic with the design of the logitech mouse. Apart from the nortek wireless, I find the other wireless mouse on sale too big for my hands. I just wanted something that will fit just right. So I closed my eyes brought the nortek wireless optical mouse in the counter and paid for it.
When it comes to performance, I have no question about the nortek wireless mouse, 800dpi is okay for my laptop I do not need anything faster anyways. What I am really after is the size and the design. This nortek mouse is kind of similar to logitech m505 but smaller. I love the feel of holding the nortek mouse because it just fits my hands. The sides are rubberized so your grip won't slip right away.
Aside from the price, I have two qualms about this product. The battery consumption, the life expectancy of an AAA alkine or rechargeable Nickel-Metal Hydride battery is only up to 150 hours or around 6 days, so it is pretty short. I remembered one time when the battery life of my nortek mouse ran out and I had to use my overused wired logitech mouse, it feels awkward because I got comfy with the size of the nortek mouse that the logitech mouse really felt huge in my hand.
Next is the USB receiver, it is not flattering at all, it is too big yet to light, I wonder why the USB receiver looks so bulky for a small mouse.
Anyways, I am thinking of buying a different mouse, one which I do not have to charge the batteries at all.
