I've finally decided to become a thoroughly modern Millie, and step into the space age, by purchasing a wireless mouse for my laptop. Being a freelance writer, and using my computer on the go often, I chose a small travel mouse (not having a clue what I was actually doing.) The set up was very easy, and it is probably the most basic wireless mouse on the market.

It is so much more comfortable than my laptop's track pad, that I want to throw confetti and dance! Where have I been all this time? It does use the standard optical sensor, with the usual 2 buttons to click on each side. It has a USB adapter that sets the mouse in motion.

It is very small, which makes it fit perfectly on the portable desktop that I often use at home for my laptop. I am sure that one day I will end up getting a more ergonomically correct mouse, now that I know how easy installation is. This one is actually quite compact for traveling though, and seems to be pretty precise in its tracking, so that's really important to me. About the only complaint I have is that the scroll wheel feels rather slow, and not as smooth as I would prefer. It's a beautiful rose and pink color, and it's made by Belkin. For the price of $18.99, I am very pleased, and I know that I will be using it constantly!
