EO Liquid Hand Soap is a little on the pricey side, but it is really good. It leaves my hands feeling “squeaky” clean, which is a first for me with hand soap. It comes in a pretty cobalt blue bottle which is made from 50% recycled materials.

I chose the Peppermint/Tea Tree because I love the smell of peppermint in hand soap. I do find, though, that the tea tree is a bit pungent smelling and I will probably try a different formula next time. Still, for cleaning, this soap is one of the best I’ve used. Other ingredients include aloe vera, chamomile, white tea, and calendula. EO Hand Soap contains a gentle coconut cleansing complex that creates a gentle foam. Other fragrances available include Chocolate Mint, French Lavender, Rosemary Mint, Lemon Eucalyptus, and Rose Geranium Citrus.

EO Products are dedicated to the preservation of the earth. Their motto is Love Life, Live Clean. They are a leading manufacturer of natural and organic products. Family owned and operated, their business is located in Marin County California.

EO’s website is impressive. It has a very simple design, but if you dig into it you will be amazed at the depth of information available there. They have a glossary of ingredients that contains overviews, descriptions, pharmacology and chemistry, uses, contraindications, side effects, whether safe during pregnancy, interaction with other drugs, dosages, references, and even links to further information. The list of ingredients seems to include every natural substance know to man!

Other products available from EO include shampoo, body wash, shaving products, essential oils and perfumes. I am considering trying their shampoo, knowing how well the soap cleans.

It’s nice to use a product you know is not damaging our environment in any way, and, though the prices are a little high, I still think it may be worthwhile to support a company with conscience like EO.
