This was my first dressage saddle-I didn't want to spend too much money on it and I wanted something that fit relatively comfortably, so this is the one I chose. I bought a brown saddle, although this one is also available in black so it would be more appropriate for showing. Mine was a 18 inch with a medium to wide tree, but it is available in a very wide range of sizes.

Overall, this saddle is just ok comfort-wise. It is very slick to sit on with very little tack for grip in the seat, so I used a tacky rub on it to improve grip for riding-that worked very well, but you need to reapply it frequently. The flaps are moderately long and allow for good contact. Billets are a medium length, so a medium length girth would be necessary. It does not have a very deep seat or large blocks, so a good seat on the rider is a must before you take on a saddle like this. It is very well constructed with good stitching and solid parts. The saddle is pretty hard with no cushion for the rider, so be prepared! The flocking is fairly minimal, which does allow for better contact on the horse, but that can be a good or bad thing-in my case it ended up being a bit too hard on my mare and she does not prefer this saddle.

It's an ok saddle for beginners, but it's not overly attractive, but serves the purpose. For the price, it's a pretty good deal.
