We have a HUGE Swap meet here in town every Sunday during the spring and summer months. There are all kinds of vendors, and you can find some really good deals on just about anything you can think of. My husband found these Establo Boots. I am not familiar with the brand. All I know is that my father in law bought a similar pair (different brand) for $200 dollars so we were thrilled that my husband found these for $50. (Of course we haggled with the guy!)
I guess these would be considered “Cowboy” style. They are Leather, the upper as well as the sole of the boot is black. The soles are rubber, which my husband likes so far because they are much more skid proof than the other pairs he has. The leather seems to be of good quality…Not top of the line of course but good. It is not the shiny leather; it is that flat looking smooth style.
The inner part of the boot/the lining is nicely padded, my husband has had these for about 4 months now and everything seems to be holding up well.
When my husband first got these boots they were a little snug but I think that is common with most new shoes you get. They did stretch and conform nicely over a short period of time. My husband has wide feet and Establos does NOT make a wide size but the leather is soft and stretched easily. My hubby is happy, he says they are VERY comfortable now, I think they look great on him and they didn’t cost an arm and a leg...what more could we ask for?!
As I have said, we did get these boots new from a vendor at our local Swap Meet. I am not sure where/ what stores you can find these in. I have seen them online and on EBay…retailing from $75-$99 dollars a pair. They do come in different colors and styles. We would recommend these as a brand to check out, they are reasonably priced, good quality leather boots.
