I absolutely love when I am given free samples, and whenever I'm in our local Macy's the e employees behind the perfume counters always try and make it a point to fill you up with free viles of newly released perfume samples.
The most recent sample I was given was Estee Lauder's Sensuous, perfume for women.
I waited till I got home to give the perfume a try. Before hand though I had a feeling it would smell a little harsh, because most perfume by Estee Lauder I have tried are usually very old fashioned scented to me.
Sensuous was no exception. At first it gives off a very strong scent of berries, follower by citrus, and pepper. It smelled a little masculine, and was not my cup of tea. Once the perfume began to dry it gave off a smoky campfire scent that I sort of liked, but definitely not enough to wear as perfume.
Although it is not my personal favorite, someone who really likes outdoorsy scents may find Sensuous attractive.
Even though I personally don't love it, I will still recommend it, because if you do find that you like the scent, it's worth it, because the scent lasts for hours. One small squirt and the scent stuck with me for close to 5 hours!
