I have had this vacuum for about three years now and have mixed feelings about it. When I first purchased it, it worked beautifully. It still works great as long as I empty the dust cup regularly. If I forget to empty it then the problems start, it clogs the filter and the dirt goes back onto the floor. As long as I empty the dustcup (it is bagless) and bang the filter against the side of the trash can to dislodge everything caught in the filter it works great.
The handle is adjustable and it comes with a stair cleaning attachment so that you can clean the front of the stairs as well as the top that works pretty well. It also has a fairly long and flexible suction hose for cleaning baseboards, lamps, etc. It comes with a narrow attachment as well as a soft brush attachment. The handle on mine is no longer adjustable as it just goes up and down while I am vacuuming and it doesn't seem to have a catch to keep it at one height anymore.
It still vacuums up the cat hair and does a great job on everyday dust and dirt, so if you don't mind having to empty the dust cup regularly (it does have a HEPA filter) it is pretty inexpensive as vacuums go.
