Eurotrip is a funny story about some teenagers adventures (and misadventures) on a european vacation. The story beings after high school graduation when a kid recently dumped (publicly) by his longtime girlfriend goes on a trip with one of his friends. Along the way, they meet up with a couple of other classmates (siblings) and the adventures abound! Along the way they meet up with some football (soccer to us Americans) fans in Manchester, England, try some not-so-pot brownies in Amsterdam, and visit the home of the Pope. I found this to be a very funny and cute story. It is mostly about the main character trying to reach his "foreign pen pal" who promises to be a beautiful, interesting woman. The adventures along the way, though, are what make this movie. From the hilarious to the surreal, there are so many crazy and unusual things happen. One of my favorite scenes is when the group is standing in line for the Louvre and see an entertainer who acts like a robot. When one of the characters mimics his act, they get into a full on "robot war". It's hilarious! While this movie is verry funny, it is not for children as there is quite a bit of nudity and adult events. It is also not for the easily offended, as there are many "gauche" things that happen in this movie to entertain us. I still really enjoy it though and laugh at the same scenes time and time again. The DVD is an unrated version so it is even more adult than the theatre version.
