Safety is #1 for your children. I highly suggest you really research highchairs before purchasing one. Reason being, they are not all safe. We bought Evenflo-three of the same chairs with Connor pattern at Babies R Us. The price was right and lots of features. We loved the height adjustment and looks of the highchair and even the pattern. My biggest complaint was the screws; the screws kept falling out. We were constantly screwing them back into the chair. We also would have a couple laying in the window trying to find out where they belong. This is a major safety problem for children. Is this highchair going to fall apart and result in a fall? There was a recall late last year on the Evenflo Magestic Highchair. The problem was screws falling out and resulting in falls. 95, 000 highchairs were recalled. I immediately called Evenflo with my complaint about the Expessions line. We were sent three new highchairs of the same Impressions line but newer models. We packaged the old ones up and sent them back in the same boxes as the new ones. Delivery was sent to pick them up. There was another Evenflo recalled the Envision. I have to say the new models received were just as bad. The screws still fell out. We kept them and are just very careful. Evenflo had previously asked us if we use a power screwdriver. My husband never did. Evenflo said power screwdrivers strip the holes. We always used a regular screwdriver. The seats of these highchairs just really never seemed very sturdy. They like make a lot of noise when the child moves back and forth in them. I can't wait to move the kids to regular chairs, so much noise at mealtime. I would not purchase an Evenflo highchair again after our experience with them. These chairs are just not safe. Look at the highchair, move the seat back and forth, wiggle it, check the adjustment, look it over completely and read reviews. Make the right choice for your little ones.
