The Haunting in Connecticut is an adrenaline pumping horror movie, based on a true events. It tells about one family's real life encounter with the dark forces of the supernatural. Because of the cheap price that offered, the family moves to the upstate of Connecticut, in a beautiful Victorian house. The life of this family is not too good. Sara Campbell and Peter Campbell have children named Matt, Billy, and Mary. Matt Campbell himself has a cancer inside his body, and this makes the family a bit depressed. The house itself used to be a funeral. Also, dead bodies inside the house have been "marked" by a special ritual so that the soul of the dead cannot rest in peace. There was a kid who named Jonah who was lived in this house. He was served as a demonic messenger, providing a gateway for spiritual entities to crossover. Day by day, Matt felt that he has been haunted by Jonah. Not only Matt, the others children also felt the same way. Actually, the ghost of Jonah try to "said" something with Matt. With the help of Reverend Nicholas Popescu, together they solved this mystery. Finally, they found out that there are so many dead bodies hidden in the house. Because of that ritual, the bodies cannot be detected by common people but Matt himself.

This movie has a good story line. Besides creepy, the computer effect is also good. This is one of my best horror movie collections, produce by Sony Pictures Entertainment and Circle Films.
