At first sight of it I was glad that it was small. It fits my small hand perfectly. With my first video test I thought that it was a bit heavy but after sometime of using it, it was actually very light compared to most camcorders. The video and photo quality is excellent. The pictures are clear and the photos are clear. The sound is superb! I dont have to crank up the volume of the tv just to capture a small clip and the person that Im shooting doesnt have to talk that loud.

The battery life is good for me since I dont take videos of really long events. Its maximum capacity is only 190minutes and thats quite enough for me.

The Easy function of it is very useful. Especially for me who's really not that of an expert but just "pretending" to be somewhat of an expert.LOL With the Easy mode function I dont have to worry about all the nitty-gritty of the colors, saturation, etc. As with digital camera goes this is a really good point and shoot video camcorder. Anyone can use it even a 6 year old or even you 80 year old Grandma(mine does^_^)

The only thing that Im not fond of in the camcorder is that it doesnt have any USB cable connector so the user really have to buy and have mini discs. It doesnt have a memory card either so its best to stock up on rewritable mini cd's. Another 'bummer' is that the optical viewfinder doesnt pull up to 45 degrees. You can extend it out but thats all.

Apart from those two negatives the camcorder can be used as a normal all around video camera.
