Eyeclops is a new, hot toy for the season. It is a giant eyeball on the end of a green handle-the eye is a magnifier that takes a look at objects up close and personally. The magnification is 200 times at most, however, when you zoom in that far-you do not get all the detail you might expect. The unit has a visual input into a television, the picture looked nice once you set it up on the television. I do not know if this wold work well with a lot of heavy, non-porous objects-the light may not be strong enough to help it with other thick items. My daughter liked it, but I think it is more effective for older, 10 and up aged children who would be a little more patient them my little 4 year old. I would recommend it for any older children that have a big interest in their world around them, and how to explore and enjoy it any way they can.
