Sometimes powdered eyeshadows can be a hassle, sometimes you don't get the right amount of eyeshadows needed for each eye and you end up having different tones for each one. Not to worry, it has been a fad nowadays to use eye shadow creams.
Eye shadow creams are not messy and it is easier to blend too. You can also apply this product by using your fingers, no hassle for novices sice brushes can sometimes be inconsistent, you can never know how much of the eye product is in the brush.
I bought my ELF duo eyeshadow cream in the effort of creating a smoky eyes look for our company party but unfortunately I was not able to do this because of time constraints, this product would have been very great.
Anyways, why did I say that this product would have been great? Simply because it is duo. I get two eye shadow colors for the price of one. One is for base coat while the other is for the after effects. And it is not that expensive but the quaity can really compete with top notched make-ups out there. It is crease resistant so it is not messy at all, if ever you made a mess out of your eyes, you can just wipe it with a tissue and start all over, as simple as that.
This product is available in 9 combinations, what I have currently are the butter pecan and black licorice. The color combination are as follows:
1. Eggplant- For that matte looking purple beauty and forest green effect
-- This one though is not as popular to my taste because it gives me the feeling that I have purple and green bruises in my eye. Kinda like the after effects of a bad fight and you got hit by a big knuckle.
2. Sugar Cookie- For those light pastel days in yellow and pink
-- This is good if you are feeling lovely these days and a little accents in the eye is necessary.
3. Olive - Good for those shiny tan look
-- Makes you look like a shimmering princess in olive green and gold
4. Berry Mix- For the seductive you
-- I have always regarded purplish colors as very sexy.
5. Blueberry- For those wish come true times
-- If you want to have a fairy look then try this combination.
6. Coffee and Cream - for the natural look
-- a light base coat then match with neutral color brown
7. Mocha Swirl - For a not so dark temptation
-- A naughty effect yet feeling lovely at the same time
8. Black Licorice- For the rockstar chic you are
-- This one is really good for the smoky cat eye effect
9. Butter Pecan- Everyday office use
-- I like this because I feel like I am not wearing any make up on yet it still let out my eyes which I would like to consider as my asset.
