For $1, you cannot beat this color tint for mixing into your foundation or moisturizer for some overall color. I use just a tiny bit mixed in with moisturizer or sunscreen and it lasts forever. It can also be used directly on cheeks and lips and as an eyeshadow. The tube is a very similar effect to the $36 Yves Saint Laurent color tints for what I feel is a virtually identical affect. I mix a bit of my moisturizer or sunscreen on my hand with a small amount of the Elf facial whip, then I apply it with a wet sponge. Start with areas to highlight, like cheekbone, forehead, bridge of nose, jawline - basically accenting your bone structure. Take the remainder and add in a bit more moisturizer and sunscreen and blot it onto your face for an overall glow. This does an amazing job making the face look luminous without a detectible sparkle or shimmer. There are six colors - I use the lilac but the toasted would work to extend a tan or to contour.
