This weekend I spent 2 days in Mont-Tremblant which is located about 120 km to the north of Montreal, Quebec. I had made reservations a few weeks ago at the Fairmont Tremblant. I am a member of the Fairmont President's club so whenever I can, I stay at the Fairmont's hotels. The Fairmont Tremblant is a 5 star hotel. It is located directly in the heart of the Tremblant ski resort. I would rate it as a 4 1/2 stars, though. But don't get me wrong, this is a very nice hotel. From the moment we got there until the moment we left, we were very pleased with the hotel. The people who work there were very pleasant and helpful.
The Fairmont Tremblant has 314 rooms and 62 suites. I had a room with a 4 poster king size bed which was very comfortable. We had a flat screen TV and a mini bar, which was, of course, pretty expensive. (For example, $4, 50 for a bottle of water)The room was very clean. We had a parking lot view, not the greatest view. But we weren't there to spend time in our room.
The Fairmont Tremblant offers Spa treatments such as massotherapy, body and aesthetic treatments. You will find indoor and outdoor heated pools, a gym, a sauna and jacuzzis.
If you're looking to book a hotel during the ski season, you won't be disappointed with the Fairmont Tremblant's location as it's close to the ski slopes.
The food at their restaurant (the Windigo) was very good but pricey. Well, everything is pricey in Mont-Tremblant. The hotel charges $22.45 a night for valet parking.
If you need help with anything, you can contact the concierge. The lady helped us get a shuttle to go to the casino. She made a call and 10 minutes later, the shuttle was in front of the Fairmont to pick us up. I really appreciated the shuttle so we didn't have to get our car to get to the casino.
So, all in all, we had a wonderful time at the Fairmont Tremblant
