Family Circle" has been around as long as I can remember. It's not a particularly fancy magazine, when you compare it to other women's magazines, but perhaps it is the simplicity of this publication that attracts readers and subscribers to it. I don't presently subscribe to "Family Circle", but I do buy it directly from the stand when I see something that looks interesting on the cover. "Family Circle" offers very practical advice on how to help women run their homes and families more effectively and balance it all with work and other outside concerns. It has definitely grown with the times and has articles and other resources that today's stressed-out woman can readily identify with. I truly enjoy the recipes in each issue, because they are easy-to-prepare dishes that you can fix with a minimum of time and they are delicious and healthy. There are also sound parenting tips, craft ideas, health-related information and other insightful articles. "Family Circle" is a magazine I trust. It costs well under $2.00 to buy it off the newsstand and, if you want to subscribe to it, it costs only $15 for 15 issues. Even though that's a very inexpensive price, I wish that this magazine was a little lengthier, as I pay a similar amount for subscriptions to other magazines that are twice the size of "Family Circle." All-in-all, however, this is a wonderful publication that is a decent read and full of great ideas for those of us still trying to get in touch with our inner June Cleaver.
