By now everyone has heard about Nintendo's Wii system console and how cool and fun it is. It comes with a game called Wii Sports in the package. That game is a lot of fun and has given this family hours of good times. But it does have its limitations. As always, as time goes by the technology of games and gaming gear improves. The Wii Sport's Resort game is one of those improvements.
One major improvement with Wii Sports Resort is the new Wii Motion Plus add-on. This is a component that simply snaps on to your Wii remote to make it more sensitive to your movements. This makes a big difference in your enjoyment of the various games available.
There are a lot more games available in this version of Wii Sports, making it a good package for the whole family. Some of the available games are: Swordplay, Water Skiing, Archery, Basketball, Ping Pong, Golf, and Kayaking. That is only to start with. There are enough games at enough levels to keep everyone in the family happy.
My grandson can actually play any of the games he likes because they all start at an easy level and then track his progress. He is only six years old and yet will play for hours if you let him. Yes, it is still a video game, but at least he is active while playing.
This Wii technology makes me wonder what the games of the future will be like. For now, though, the Wii Sports Resort is the best fun we've had at our house for a long time!
